Son of Napoleon Bonaparte Broward and Mary Dorcas (Parsons) Broward. Democrat. Steamboat business; phosphate mining business; member of Florida state house of representatives, 1900; Governor of Florida, 1905-09; candidate in primary for U.S. Senator from Florida, 1908; alternate delegate to Democratic National Convention from Florida, 1908. Died October 1, 1910 (age 53 years, 165 days). Interment at Evergreen Cemetery, Jacksonville, Fla.   Presumably named for: Napoleon Bonaparte   Relatives: Son of Napoleon Bonaparte Broward and Mary Dorcas (Parsons) Broward; married 1883 to Caroline Georgia Kemps (died 1883); married 1887 to Annie I. 	James Knox Polk Hall (1844-1915) — of Ridgway, Elk County, Pa. Born in Milesburg, Centre County, Pa., September 30, 1844. Democrat. Lawyer; Elk County District Attorney, 1867-70, 1873; interests in coal mining, lumbering, railroads, and banking; delegate to Democratic National Convention from Pennsylvania, 1896; U.S. Representative from Pennsylvania 28th District, 1899-1903; member of Pennsylvania state senate, 1903-14 (38th District 1903-06, 26th District 1907-14). Died in Tampa, Hillsborough County, Fla., January 5, 1915 (age 70 years, 97 days). 	Raymond Robins (1873-1954) — of Nome, Nome census area, Alaska; Chicago, Cook County, Ill.; near Brooksville, Hernando County, Fla. Born in Staten Island, Richmond County, N.Y., September 17, 1873. Progressive. Coal miner; lawyer; went to the Klondike for the 1898 Gold Rush; pastor; social worker; economist; writer; candidate for U.S. Senator from Illinois, 1914; commissioner of American Red Cross mission to Russia, 1917.
