Catholic. Member, American Legion; Knights of Columbus; Elks; Eagles; Sigma Alpha Epsilon. Died in 1948 (age about 58 years). Lawyer; member of Massachusetts state house of representatives, 1913-20; Speaker of the Massachusetts State House of Representatives, 1919-20; delegate to Republican National Convention from Massachusetts, 1920; Massachusetts state attorney general, 1928-35; superior court judge in Massachusetts, 1940-49. Episcopalian. Member, Sigma Alpha Epsilon; Freemasons; Odd Fellows; Moose; Knights of Pythias; Elks; Ancient Order of United Workmen. Burial location unknown.
