  Homer C. Fritsch (1894-1957) — of Grosse Pointe Park, Wayne County, Mich. Born in Piqua, Miami County, Ohio, July 23, 1894. Chemist; executive vice-president, Parke Davis pharmaceutical company; village president of Grosse Pointe Park, Michigan, 1948-50; mayor of Grosse Pointe Park, Mich., 1950-57; died in office 1957. Member, American Chemical Society; Freemasons; Scottish Rite Masons; Shriners. Collapsed and died in the lobby of the Ritz Carlton Hotel, Montreal, Quebec, April 8, 1957 (age 62 years, 259 days). Forced to resign as state treasurer in 1908; convicted of embezzlement; served two years in prison; pardoned in 1920. Died near Chelsea, Washtenaw County, Mich., January 1, 1922 (age 59 years, 299 days). Interment at Oak Grove Cemetery, Chelsea, Mich.

  George Pickering Glazier (1841-1901) — also known as George P. Glazier — of Chelsea, Washtenaw County, Mich. Born in Boston, Erie County, N.Y., April 5, 1841. Son of George M. Glazier and Anna Maria Glazier. Republican. Druggist; banker; farmer. Stricken with paralysis, and died six hours later, in Chelsea, Washtenaw County, Mich., March 5, 1901 (age 59 years, 334 days). Interment at Oak Grove Cemetery, Chelsea, Mich.

  Jerry Thomson Logie (1887-1966) — also known as Jerry T. Logie — of Bay City, Bay County, Mich. Born in Grand Rapids, Kent County, Mich., 1887. Republican. Pharmacist; member of Michigan state senate 24th District, 1939-44; charged on January 22, 1944 (along with 19 other current and former state legislators) with accepting bribes; tried, convicted, and sentenced to 3-5 years in prison; charged in a different bribery case in 1945; tried and convicted. Died in 1966 (age about 79 years). Burial location unknown.
  Kent T. Lundgren (b. 1914) — of Menominee, Menominee County, Mich. Born in St. Paul, Ramsey County, Minn., July 7, 1914. Son of Victor Lundgren and Olga (Olson) Lundgren. Republican. Pharmacist; served in the U.S. Army during World War II; member of Michigan state senate 30th District, 1962-64; defeated, 1956 (30th District), 1958 (30th District), 1960 (30th District), 1964 (37th District); delegate to Michigan state constitutional convention from 30th Senatorial District, 1961-62; resigned 1962. The Political Graveyard is a web site about U.S. political history and cemeteries. Founded in 1996, it is the Internet's most comprehensive free source for American political biography, listing 234,420 politicians, living and dead.
