Lewis Fields Linn (1796-1843) — also known as Lewis F. Linn — of Ste. Genevieve, Ste. Genevieve County, Mo. Born near Louisville, Jefferson County, Ky., November 5, 1796. Democrat. Physician; member of Missouri state senate, 1827; U.S. Senator from Missouri, 1833-43; died in office 1843. Died October 3, 1843 (age 46 years, 332 days). Interment at Protestant Cemetery.

		Relatives: Half-brother of Henry Dodge; brother-in-law of James Hugh Relfe; half-uncle of Augustus Caesar Dodge. See Dodge family.
