  Charles Albert Busiel (1842-1901) — also known as Charles A. Busiel — of Laconia, Belknap County, N.H. Born in Meredith, Belknap County, N.H., November 24, 1842. Manufacturer; president, Laconia National Bank and City Savings Bank; president, Lake Shore Railroad; director, Concord & Montreal Railroad; member of New Hampshire state house of representatives, 1878-79; delegate to Democratic National Convention from New Hampshire, 1880; mayor of Laconia, N.H., 1893-95; Governor of New Hampshire, 1895-97. Died, about two weeks after the drowning of his six-year-old grandson and namesake, of heart disease, August 29, 1901 (age 58 years, 278 days). Entombed in mausoleum at Union Cemetery, Laconia, N.H.

  William Rockwell Clough (b. 1844) — also known as William R. Clough — of Alton, Belknap County, N.H. Born in Manchester, Hillsborough County, N.H., November 8, 1844. Son of John Chesley Clough and Lydia Jane (Treddick) Clough. Republican. Served in the Union Army during the Civil War; inventor; manufacturer; member of New Hampshire state house of representatives, 1896-1900; alternate delegate to Republican National Convention from New Hampshire, 1904. Protestant. Member, Grand Army of the Republic; Freemasons; Order of the Eastern Star. Burial location unknown.

  John Frank Farnham (b. 1860) — also known as J. Frank Farnham — of Wakefield, Carroll County, N.H. Born in Acton, York County, Maine, April 20, 1860. Son of Ezra Farnham (1831-1884) and Harriett (Hubbard) Farnham. Excelsior manufacturer; member of New Hampshire state senate 5th District, 1901-02. Burial location unknown.

  Hamilton Tyler Howe (b. 1849) — also known as Hamilton T. Howe — of Hanover, Grafton County, N.H. Born in Thetford, Orange County, Vt., April 19, 1849. Son of William Howe and Sarah (Bastoon) Howe. Carpenter; door, sash, and blind manufacturer; livery business; member of New Hampshire state senate 3rd District, 1907-08. Burial location unknown.

  Frank E. Kaley (b. 1856) — of Milford, Hillsborough County, N.H. Born in Canton, Norfolk County, Mass., March 13, 1856. Son of Timothy Kaley. Republican. Manufacturer; member of New Hampshire state senate 15th District, 1901-02; member of New Hampshire Governor's Council 3rd District, 1903. Member, Freemasons; Odd Fellows. Burial location unknown.

  Henry Brewer Quinby (1846-1924) — also known as Henry B. Quinby — of Gilford, Belknap County, N.H.; Lakeport, Laconia, Belknap County, N.H. Born in Biddeford, York County, Maine, June 10, 1846. Son of Thomas Quinby and Jane E. (Brewer) Quinby. Republican. Manufacturer; banker; member of New Hampshire state house of representatives, 1887-88; member of New Hampshire state senate 6th District, 1889-90; member of New Hampshire Governor's Council, 1891-92; delegate to Republican National Convention from New Hampshire, 1892; Governor of New Hampshire, 1909-11. Unitarian. Member, Freemasons; Sons of the American Revolution. Died February 8, 1924 (age 77 years, 243 days). Burial location unknown.

  Huntley Nowel Spaulding (1869-1955) — also known as Huntley N. Spaulding — of Rochester, Strafford County, N.H. Born in Townsend Harbor, Townsend, Middlesex County, Mass., October 20, 1869. Son of Jonas Spaulding and Emeline (Cummings) Spaulding. Republican. Manufacturer; Governor of New Hampshire, 1927-29; delegate to Republican National Convention from New Hampshire, 1928, 1932, 1936, 1940, 1944; candidate for Presidential Elector for New Hampshire, 1940. Protestant. Died in Rochester, Strafford County, N.H., November 14, 1955 (age 86 years, 25 days). Interment at Mt. Auburn Cemetery, Cambridge, Mass.
  Relatives: Son of Jonas Spaulding and Emeline (Cummings) Spaulding; married, August 11, 1900, to Harriet Mason; brother of Rolland Harty Spaulding.

Son of Jonas Spaulding and Emeline (Cummings) Spaulding. Republican. Manufacturer; delegate to Republican National Convention from New Hampshire, 1912; Governor of New Hampshire, 1915-17. Died March 14, 1942 (age 68 years, 364 days). Burial location unknown.

The Political Graveyard is a web site about U.S. political history and cemeteries. Founded in 1996, it is the Internet's most comprehensive free source for American political biography, listing 234,420 politicians, living and dead.
 
  The coverage of the site includes (1) the President, Vice President, members of Congress, elected state and territorial officeholders in all fifty states, the District of Columbia, and U.S. territories; and the chief elected official, typically the mayor, of qualifying municipalities; (2) candidates at election, including primaries, for any of the above; (3) all federal judges and all state appellate judges; (4) certain federal officials, including the federal cabinet, diplomatic chiefs of mission, consuls, U.S. district attorneys, collectors of customs and internal revenue, and members of major federal commissions; and (5) state and national political party officials, including delegates, alternate delegates, and other participants in national party nominating conventions.
