actor in two 1951 movies: Teresa and The Red Badge
of Courage; candidate for U.S.
Representative from New York 28th District, 1956.
Died, from complications of Alzheimer's
disease and pneumonia,
in a nursing
home at Newport Beach, Orange
County, Calif., January
22, 2003 (age 81 years, 85
days).
