  Olaf Anderson (b. 1889) — of Frederick, Brown County, S.Dak. Born in McPherson County, S.Dak., September 23, 1889. Democrat. Flour mill manager; mayor of Frederick, S.D.; member of South Dakota state house of representatives 36th District, 1933-38. Member, Freemasons. Burial location unknown.
  Dana Reed Bailey (b. 1833) — also known as Dana R. Bailey — of Highgate, Franklin County, Vt.; St. Albans, Franklin County, Vt.; Baldwin, St. Croix County, Wis.; Sioux Falls, Minnehaha County, S.Dak. Born in Montgomery, Franklin County, Vt., April 27, 1833. Republican. School teacher; lawyer; delegate to Republican National Convention from Vermont, 1868; Franklin County State's Attorney; member of Vermont state senate, 1871-74; founder of village of Baldwin, Wis., 1871; built the Matchless Flour Mills there, and owned three saw mills; member of Wisconsin state senate, 1878-79; St. Croix County Commissioner, 1880-82; insurance business; Minnehaha County State's Attorney, 1890-95. Burial location unknown.
  Albert N. Barber (1858-1940) — of Esmond, Kingsbury County, S.Dak. Born in Davis Junction, Ogle County, Ill., May 16, 1858. Son of Nelson F. Barber (1830-1921) and Jane (Brooks) Barber (1830-1908). Republican. Grain elevator business; druggist; banker; lumber merchant; member of South Dakota state house of representatives 23rd District, 1911-12. Died in Riverside, Riverside County, Calif., August 29, 1940 (age 82 years, 105 days). Interment at Evergreen Memorial Park, Riverside, Calif.

The Political Graveyard

The Political Graveyard is a web site about U.S. political history and cemeteries. Founded in 1996, it is the Internet's most comprehensive free source for American political biography, listing 234,420 politicians, living and dead.
 
  The coverage of the site includes (1) the President, Vice President, members of Congress, elected state and territorial officeholders in all fifty states, the District of Columbia, and U.S. territories; and the chief elected official, typically the mayor, of qualifying municipalities; (2) candidates at election, including primaries, for any of the above; (3) all federal judges and all state appellate judges; (4) certain federal officials, including the federal cabinet, diplomatic chiefs of mission, consuls, U.S. district attorneys, collectors of customs and internal revenue, and members of major federal commissions; and (5) state and national political party officials, including delegates, alternate delegates, and other participants in national party nominating conventions.
