Hardware merchant; mining business; member of Vermont state house of representatives, 1900; member of Vermont state senate, 1904. Congregationalist. Member, Freemasons. Burial location unknown.

  Ezra C. Dike (b. 1838) — of Bristol, Addison County, Vt. Born in Bolton, Chittenden County, Vt., 1838. Republican. Hardware merchant; member of Vermont state house of representatives from Bristol, 1910. Protestant. Burial location unknown.
  Washington Irving Howard (1831-1899) — of Steuben County, Ind.; Rochester, Fulton County, Ind. Born in Jamaica, Windham County, Vt., May 7, 1831. Son of Mary Louise Killeen (1882). Republican. Lawyer; hardware dealer; member of Indiana state senate, 1873; newspaper publisher; member of Indiana state house of representatives, 1887; defeated, 1856. Member, Delta Kappa Epsilon. Died in Spencer, Owen County, Ind., 1899 (age about 68 years). Burial location unknown.

  David Safford Walbridge (1802-1868) — also known as David S. Walbridge — of Kalamazoo, Kalamazoo County, Mich. Born in Bennington, Bennington County, Vt., July 30, 1802. Son of David Walbridge (1769-1829) and Isabel (Brush) Walbridge (1771-1804). Republican. Hardware merchant; miller; member of Michigan state senate 5th District, 1849-50; U.S. Representative from Michigan 3rd District, 1855-59; postmaster. Died in Kalamazoo, Kalamazoo County, Mich., June 15, 1868 (age 65 years, 321 days). Interment at Mountain Home Cemetery, Kalamazoo, Mich.
  Relatives: Son of David Walbridge (1769-1829) and Isabel (Brush) Walbridge (1771-1804); first cousin once removed of Ephraim Safford; second cousin once removed of Ebenezer William Walbridge, Henry Sanford Walbridge and Robert Crawford Safford; married, October 23, 1823, to Eliza Taggart (1803-1866); second cousin of James Safford and Anson Peacely Killen Safford; third cousin of Hiram Walbridge; third cousin once removed of John Hill Walbridge and Henry E. Walbridge; first cousin twice removed of Cyrus Packard Walbridge; third cousin thrice removed of Clair Hiram Walbridge; second cousin twice removed of Edward L. Safford. The Political Graveyard

The Political Graveyard is a web site about U.S. political history and cemeteries. Founded in 1996, it is the Internet's most comprehensive free source for American political biography, listing 234,420 politicians, living and dead.
 
  The coverage of the site includes (1) the President, Vice President, members of Congress, elected state and territorial officeholders in all fifty states, the District of Columbia, and U.S. territories; and the chief elected official, typically the mayor, of qualifying municipalities; (2) candidates at election, including primaries, for any of the above; (3) all federal judges and all state appellate judges; (4) certain federal officials, including the federal cabinet, diplomatic chiefs of mission, consuls, U.S. district attorneys, collectors of customs and internal revenue, and members of major federal commissions; and (5) state and national political party officials, including delegates, alternate delegates, and other participants in national party nominating conventions.  
  The listings are incomplete; development of the database is a continually ongoing project.
