1949, he became secretary-treasurer of the movie
theater chain, United Paramount Theaters; following a merger with
American Broadcasting Company, he became financial vice-president of
the ABC television
network; in 1957, he joined the Loew's movie
theater chain as vice-president and treasurer; president of the
Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer movie studio, 1963-69.
