Butler and Maude Eliza (Kimball) Butler (1880-1963). Democrat. Member of Washington Democratic State Committee, 1936; member of Washington state house of representatives, 1939-60; U.S. Representative from Washington 3rd District, 1960-74. Female. Member, Order of the Eastern Star. Died in Cathlamet, Wahkiakum County, Wash., May 3, 1988 (age 80 years, 324 days). Interment at Greenwood Cemetery, Cathlamet, Wash.   Relatives: Married, July 15, 1939, to Henry A. Knute Hill (1876-1963) — also known as "Little Giant" — of Prosser, Benton County, Wash. Born near Creston, Ogle County, Ill., July 31, 1876. Son of Rasmus O. Hill and Martha (Govig) Hill. Member of Washington state house of representatives, 1927-32; U.S. Representative from Washington 4th District, 1933-43; defeated, 1920 (Farmer-Labor, 4th District), 1924 (Farmer-Labor, 4th District), 1946 (Independent Progressive, 5th District). Norwegian ancestry. Member, Grange; Freemasons; Order of the Eastern Star. Died in Desert Hot Springs, Riverside County, Calif., December 3, 1963 (age 87 years, 125 days).
